In the new issue of Stop Smiling -- which has a Washington, D.C., theme -- I interview political journalist and novelist Ana Marie Cox. It's available online.
I read the Q&A article and checked out Wonkette... enjoyed certain reader's comment re Palin's $4,000 haircut: "How's she gonna see Russia if somebody doesn't cut her bangs?"
Just FYI, anonymous, the Wonkette blog is no longer written by Ana Marie Cox. She now writes for Time (I believe), and the Wonkette blog has been handed off to a gay guy who still uses the moniker, but is about 85% less funny, witty, original, or cogent. He is, however, much more acidic, which sometimes passes for wit in the world of politics.
On the other hand, I am extremely disappointed to see that JMW made it through that entire interview without asking one self-referential, haughty, and insulting question. You passed on a prime opportunity to give ASWOBA's fans a little Deborah Solomon shout out.
