The Holidays Approach
Ah, two surefire signs that, even though the temperature is hovering around 70 degrees on this first day of December, Old Man Winter is on his way:
1. The tree is up in Rockefeller Center.
and 2. I'm posing in front of it with Elmo and SpongeBob:
What I love about that shot is how they clearly don't know what to do when a grown man walks up for a picture. Kids? Throw an arm around 'em and look cheerful. Ladies? Same thing, maybe cop a feel. Grown men? Well, Elmo just looks kind of confused and dejected, and SpongeBob looks a bit nervous (even more than usual, that is).

The perplexed and nervous expressions of Elmo and Bob are only accentuated by the rakish grin of confidence on the face of you, the voice of ASWOBA. If only a Rockette had showed up to high-kick some sense into them. - tavia.
