This was one of my favourite Tom & Jerry moments - thanks!
I'm totally hugging you through the computer right now. Just last night I had Quantum Leap on in the bedroom, and it was the episode where Al and Sam switch places. So the boyfriend was in the room (although he hates Quantum Leap) and Al is in the convertible with the chick and this song comes on the radio, but it's faint in the background... And the boyfriend and I looked at each other and screamed "TOM AND JERRY!!!" And I actually considered YouTubing it but didn't even know where to begin looking.
So as you see, you've made me all sorts of indescribably happy.
This is also my favorite Tom and Jerry moment. I think it is everyone's.
