Springing Forward

My favorite bit of overheard conversation at a party last night, caught walking by a group of three or four people:

Man Unknown to Me: No, it's "spring forward, fall back."
Woman Unknown to Me (in voice a couple of notches below frantic): But does that mean we sleep less or more? What does that mean?!
